Elbow, Wrist and Hand
Does your elbow bend backwards more than a straight line? Can you turn your palms up the same amount on your left versus right hands? Can your fingers bend down at each joint independently?

These are some of the questions that will give you answers as to why you are getting pain or discomfort in your elbows, wrists or hands.
If your joints are moving too much, which is common in elbows, you will need to work on avoiding stretching positions and adopt strategies to immobilise and strengthen your joints. Temporary taping, stabilising exercises and isometric exercises are a great place to start.
Alternatively, if you joints are not moving enough, the joints might be resting in a poor position or be restricted by inflammation. Gently twisting or pushing bones in a new position, then moving through the full range of motion, can immediately gain back some range. Combined with regular movement and holistic treatment of inflammation, mobilisation with movement (Mulligan) exercises can be useful to regain use of your elbows, wrists and hands.
Weakness in arms is often attributed to nerve compression which could be coming from anywhere between your neck or midback to your fingertips. Assessment is important to target correct treatment techniques for fast healing.
